The new permanent exhibition “Wagner in Saxony” in the hunting lodge welcomes the viewer with sound portals. Six thematic rooms vividly convey Wagner's biography and his activities in Saxony, Bohemia and Europe, the emergence of his synthesis of the arts by way of writing, composition, staging of scenes on the stage / in the theatre, as well as the visual depiction of the Wagneresque orchestra sound and a selection for listening. The Lohengrin House as an authentic Wagner site invites visitors to experience the composer's summer sojourn of 1846 in the rooms he stayed in. The exhibitions are devoted to the opera "Lohengrin", the composition of which Wagner drafted in this house.
