The church of St. Florian was built between 1597 and 1606 by Rudolf von Bünau, Baron of Wessenstein and Blansko, as a Lutheran chapel of St. Mary in the castle grounds. In 1897, the castle chapel was converted into a parish church. The church was consecrated to St. Florian. The church is a unique monument to the so-called Saxon Renaissance. Its architectural features include a cellular vault with spikes, diamond portals, window crosses and two-storey galleries. The Renaissance altar with alabaster reliefs from 1604 is the most valuable part of the interior. The original structure has been preserved to this day, justifying its inclusion in the list of national cultural monuments in 2008.
